Short answer: SimpleChain is an EVM-compatible layer 1 for real-world assets (RWA), and its public testnet, "SimpleChain 2.0", is live and free. Add SimpleChain Testnet to your wallet (chain ID 1913, RPC https://rpc-c.simplechain.com), claim 0.1 test SRW every 24 hours from the official faucet, then make a first transaction. For daily points, connect the same wallet to SimpleChain's official Task Hub: the check-in gives 60 points a day, with streak bonuses. Points don't guarantee an airdrop.
This guide covers wallet setup, the faucet, the Task Hub's daily tasks and streaks, a daily GM and contract deployment, and the testnet quirks that cause errors.
We checked every value and task below against SimpleChain's website, docs, faucet, Task Hub and RPC on October 23, 2026. Campaigns change often. If something differs, trust the official page.
SimpleChain Testnet in Brief
- What it is: SimpleChain 2.0 is an EVM-compatible layer 1 for real-world assets, tied to the DataIPO platform.
- Network: chain ID 1913, RPC https://rpc-c.simplechain.com, currency SRW. Wallets may call it an unknown network.
- Faucet: 0.1 test SRW every 24 hours, enough for hundreds of transactions at 1 gwei.
- Task Hub: the official points campaign at task.simplechain.com, with a 60-point daily check-in and streak bonuses up to 4,000 points.
- Airdrop: not announced as of October 23, 2026. Points don't guarantee one.
What Is SimpleChain?
SimpleChain calls itself "The Trusted Asset Chain". The current network, SimpleChain 2.0, is an EVM-compatible layer 1 built for real-world assets. Alongside normal Solidity contracts, it adds components for asset evidence, compliance policy, oracle data and asset lifecycle state. It's closely tied to DataIPO, the asset issuance and financing platform in the same ecosystem, and its whitepaper lives in the DataIPO docs.
The testnet is a proof-of-stake network with public validator and staking pages. On October 23, 2026 SimpleChain's testnet page showed these rounded explorer figures:
- 31.8 million+ blocks indexed
- 167 million+ testnet transactions
- 907,000+ wallet addresses
- 1.1 seconds observed average block time
Fast blocks and a 1 gwei gas price make it a cheap network for daily activity.

Step 1: Add SimpleChain Testnet to Your Wallet
SimpleChain says any wallet that supports custom EVM networks can connect, and MetaMask is the most common choice. Use a separate wallet for testing if you can.
In MetaMask:
- Open the network menu and choose Add a custom network.
- Enter network name SimpleChain Testnet, RPC URL
https://rpc-c.simplechain.com, chain ID 1913, currency symbol SRW and block explorerhttps://testnet-explorer.simplechain.com. - Save and switch to the new network.
Expect an "unknown network" warning. Chain ID 1913 isn't in the public chain registry that wallets use to recognise networks, so MetaMask, Rabby and others may flag it. That's normal for this testnet. Check the chain ID and RPC URL match the values above, then continue.
Step 2: Get Free Test SRW From the Faucet
- Open the SimpleChain faucet.
- Paste your
0xwallet address. - Select Send 0.1 SRW.

Faucet limits (October 23, 2026): 0.1 SRW every 24 hours per wallet. That sounds small, but gas on SimpleChain Testnet is a flat 1 gwei: 100,000 gas costs just 0.0001 SRW, so one drip covers hundreds of transactions.
Some third-party guides call the test coin tSRW. On the faucet and in your wallet it shows as SRW.
The faucet only needs your public address, and the Task Hub only needs a wallet connection and normal transaction signatures. Never enter your seed phrase or private key on any SimpleChain page, and never pay anyone for test SRW or points.
Step 3: Make Your First Transaction
- Make sure SimpleChain Testnet is the active network.
- Select Send, paste a recipient address (your own second address is fine) and enter a small amount, such as 0.001 SRW.
- Confirm. With blocks about a second apart, it confirms almost immediately.
- Paste your address or transaction hash into the SimpleChain testnet explorer to check it.
SimpleChain's testnet page suggests more to try once you're set up: deploy a Solidity contract, move assets across the bridge, trade on the testnet RWA DEX, view staking and validators, or test RWA issuance through DataIPO.
SimpleChain Task Hub: Daily Check-In, Tasks and Points
The SimpleChain Task Hub is SimpleChain's official points campaign. The Launch button on simplechain.com links to it. It calls itself "Your Daily On-Chain Ritual" and asks you to complete daily, on-chain, social and achievement missions "to build your contribution record and unlock higher tiers".

As of October 23, 2026, the Task Hub showed 12 missions live, 13 active validators and 29,012 participants. It has a Leaderboard tab and mission filters for Daily, OnChain, Social, Achievement and DataIPO. Without a wallet connected, three daily tasks were listed:

How the Daily Check-In Streak Works
The check-in rules published by the Task Hub on October 23, 2026:
- 60 points for each daily check-in, once per day.
- The day resets at 00:00 UTC, whatever your local time zone.
- Streak bonuses: +50 points at 3 days, +150 at 7, +400 at 14, +1,000 at 30, +2,000 at 50, +3,000 at 60 and +4,000 at 80 days.
- Missing a day resets your streak, and the hub's rules also deduct a small number of points (12) for a missed day.
- The check-in and referral tasks are scheduled to run until May 10, 2027.
The cheapest way to keep a streak is to check in at the same time every day, well before 00:00 UTC.
Referral Bonuses
Each verified invite earns 150 points. Extra bonuses apply at milestones: 500 points at 5 invites, 2,500 at 20, 8,000 at 50 and 20,000 at 100. Only share your invite link with people who actually want to test the network.
On-Chain, Social, Achievement and DataIPO Missions
The hub lists 12 live missions, but only the three daily tasks above were visible without a wallet connected. Connect the wallet you funded from the faucet to see the on-chain, social, achievement and DataIPO missions, and check each mission card for its current points. We didn't connect a wallet, so we can't confirm those missions or their point values here.
Is There a SimpleChain Airdrop?
SimpleChain says the points build your contribution record and unlock higher tiers. Its whitepaper names SRW as the native utility token of SimpleChain mainnet and says supply and allocation are published in a separate tokenomics document. As of October 23, 2026, SimpleChain had not announced an airdrop or any conversion of Task Hub points to tokens. Some airdrop sites quote allocation figures that we couldn't find in SimpleChain's own documents. Points don't guarantee an airdrop, so treat the Task Hub as a way to explore the network, not a promise of rewards.
The Task Hub launched in April 2026. Some airdrop sites still give an end date of April 28, 2026, but on October 23, 2026 the hub was live, with check-in and referral tasks scheduled until May 10, 2027.
Daily Activity on SimpleChain: Send a GM and Deploy a Contract on PingGM
For a daily on-chain habit next to your check-in, PingGM supports SimpleChain Testnet for a daily GM and a no-code contract deployment.
- Go to PingGM and connect your wallet.
- Select the Testnet filter, choose SimpleChain Testnet and select Send GM. Approve the network switch if your wallet asks.
- Confirm in your wallet. You pay the PingGM fee plus gas, both in SRW. On October 23, 2026 the PingGM fee for a GM on SimpleChain Testnet was 0.000029 SRW.
- To deploy a contract without writing code, open PingGM's SimpleChain Testnet page and use the deployment card on the right, or go straight to the PingGM deployer for SimpleChain Testnet, then confirm. The PingGM deploy fee was 0.000035 SRW.

The screenshot shows PingGM's SimpleChain Testnet page after a GM and a deployment: the buttons read Already sent GM and Already deployed today, with a countdown to the next one, and the current fees are shown under the cards.

Rabby shows Simulation Not Supported, Unknown Signature Type and a Custom Network stamp because it can't simulate transactions on SimpleChain Testnet. That's normal for a custom testnet. Check that the chain ID is 1913 and that the value is the PingGM fee: 0x1a6016b2d000 is 0.000029 SRW. Rabby estimated about 0.000073 SRW of gas on top, so a GM costs about 0.0001 SRW in total.

A GM Successfully Sent! dialog confirms it, and View Transaction opens the GM on the SimpleChain explorer. A deployment ends the same way, with a Contract Deployed! dialog that links to the deployment transaction.

These fees are deliberately tiny so the 0.1 SRW daily faucet drip covers them with plenty to spare. You can send one GM and make one deployment per wallet per UTC day, and both reset at 00:00 UTC, the same time as the Task Hub check-in. Fees are read live from the PingGM contracts, so check the amount in your wallet before you sign, or see every network's GM and deploy fee. PingGM is non-custodial: you sign every transaction from your own wallet. For how PingGM's deployer works on other networks too, see our guide to deploying smart contracts across multiple blockchains with PingGM.
For Developers: Deploy With Hardhat
SimpleChain says Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, standard wallets and JSON-RPC "work as expected". Its developer hub gives this Hardhat network entry:
networks: {
simplechain_testnet: {
url: "https://rpc-c.simplechain.com",
chainId: 1913,
accounts: [process.env.PRIVATE_KEY],
},
},
Then deploy with npx hardhat run scripts/deploy.js --network simplechain_testnet. With Foundry, pass --rpc-url https://rpc-c.simplechain.com to forge create. Fund the deploying wallet from the faucet first, and never commit a private key.
Two endpoint limits from the SimpleChain docs matter for apps and scripts:
- Rate limit: the public testnet RPC allows 10,000 requests per 5 minutes.
eth_getLogsis disabled on the public testnet endpoints. The docs recommend WebSockets if you need logs often. Indexers and event-driven scripts need another source, such as the explorer or your own node.
Common SimpleChain Testnet Errors and Fixes
- "Unknown network" or "unverified network" warning: expected, because chain ID 1913 isn't in the public registry. Check the chain ID and RPC, then continue.
- Faucet won't send: you've claimed in the last 24 hours. Wait for the timer.
- Check-in streak reset: you missed a UTC day. The check-in day starts at 00:00 UTC, not local midnight.
- Script fails on
eth_getLogs: the method is disabled on the public testnet RPC. Use WebSockets, the explorer or your own node. - HTTP 429 or slow responses: you've hit the 10,000-requests-per-5-minutes limit. Slow your script down.
- Wrong network: your SRW balance shows 0 or an app asks you to switch. Check that your wallet uses chain ID 1913.
Start Using SimpleChain Testnet
You now have SimpleChain Testnet in your wallet, free SRW and a daily routine: check in on the Task Hub, send a daily GM on PingGM and deploy a contract on SimpleChain Testnet. Each takes one wallet confirmation and costs a tiny fraction of the faucet drip.
The same flow works on other testnets: see our QMS Network testnet guide, Maroo testnet guide, DogeOS testnet guide and Base Sepolia faucet guide.
